“You Don't Have to Go to the Vatican for Catholic Church Records!”
with Olivia Wendt, Archivist, Diocese of Green Bay

Tuesday July 28, 2026   6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Emil & Gail Fischer Room – lower level

333 N. Broadway  De Pere, WI 54115

Olivia’s presentation will focus on Catholic historical records available in the Archives of the Diocese of Green Bay.    Come join us even if you have Catholic ancestors from outside of the Diocese of Green Bay.    Some of the information about Catholic parish recordkeeping might be relevant to your research even if the records themselves would be found elsewhere.

Olivia Wendt: Olivia Wendt earned her BA at St. Norbert College and her MLIS at UW-Madison.  She joined the Green Bay Diocesan archives in 2006 as assistant archivist and has been archivist since 2013.   She looks forward to someday adding to the research that her relatives have done on her own ancestors (none of whom who settled in this portion of Wisconsin), but for now work and parenting are her primary focus.
